Hustlers Mountain Bike Club

CHAPEL ALLERTON, LEEDS

We are a local mtb club for young persons typically 21 to 35 years old and go on two rides a week usually on a Wednesday evening and a Sunday morning starting and finishing at the Regent in Chapel Allerton.

We ride local so expect a little road riding, but we do try and get as much off road action as we can, and tend to ride out to Otley/Harrogate/Harewood, with an epic ride further afield once a month to Wales/the Dales/Peaks etc.

Expect to cover 12-20 miles on a Wednesday, and on a Sunday 15-30 miles with a half way beer stop!

We are a social mtb club and go on rides for fun as well as to keep fit, but comps are optional, and expect some social nights on the beers.

Essential guidelines if you want to meet up with us;

1. You must wear a helmet.

2. Bring sufficient food and water.

3. Bring some cash (aka beer money!)

4. Check the weather and wear the right clothes i.e. bring a light waterproff jacket, gloves, decent footwear, decent baggy cycling shorts.

5. Always bring your own tools i.e. a pump, tyre levers, allen keys, spanner, chain tool, multi-tool, spare inner tube, break pads, chain links.

6. Bring a mobile just in case!

7. Turn up on time or else you'll be playing catch up!

8. Have fun, and expect to get covered in muck!

9. All riders come along at their own risk.

10. All riders must ride within their capabilities.

11. No under 18's allowed.

12. All riders will ride responsibly and with consideration giving way to walkers and horses, approaching slowly and not riding in a group to occupy the whole width of a trail.

13. Mountain biking is dangerous and even the best of us fall off!

14. Hustlers MBC cannot and will not be held responsible for any injury, damage, loss to any individual or third party.
